How to Take Screenshots on Windows 10
Capture, save, and locate
With a simple keyboard shortcut you can take a screenshot of your Windows 10 screen.
But a keyboard combination is not the only way to take screenshots of your screen.
Here are two simple ways to take a screenshot from your Windows 10 PC.
Take screenshots on Windows 10
Method 1: Keyboard shortcut
To take a screenshot, press and hold the windows + print key. The screen will go dim for a few seconds and the image will be captured.
Locate the screenshot from the default Screenshots folder.
The path to the folder is:
- “C:\Users\username\OneDrive\Pictures\Screenshots’’
- “C:\Users\username\Pictures\Screenshots”
Method 2: Snipping tool
The snipping tool is a built-in windows 10 app used for taking screenshots.
To snip is to cut. The snipping tool allows for screenshots via cutting.
